Opis

The Casa de Pilatos was built in the late 15C and completed in the early 16C by Don Fadrique. Mudejar (predominantly), Renaissance and Late Gothic styles come together here. The patio calls to mind a Moorish palace with its arches with finely crafted stuccowork and splendid azulejos. The interior has artesonado (coffered) ceilings, azulejo bases, stuccowork, remains of frescoes and furniture with Mudejar marquetry. Finally, the loggias in the large aromatic garden house Renaissance sculptures.
