Opis

All that remains of the old synagogue is the Gothic doorway; the rest was rebuilt in the 17C. The extremely pared-down exterior belies the exuberant decoration of the nave: the barrel vaults and the dome of the transept crossing are completely covered with stucco decoration combined in rounded masses. The church, Santa María la Blanca, also houses a magnificent depiction of The Last Supper, attributed to Murillo.
