Opis

24km long and 9km wide, Texel is the biggest of the Wadden's islands. This "Holland in miniature" has numerous attractions. At its centre is Den Burg, its capital, and to the west De Koog, a modern seaside resort on the main beach. Oudeschild is home to a small fishing port and marina, while the villages of villages Oosterend, De Waal and Den Hoorn each have their own picturesque charm. Birdwatching is one of Texel's most popular pursuits.
