Opis

Established in the House of the Estates-General, the museum displays archaeological collections and medieval statues. It also contains the cope of St Mexme (12C), the largest piece of Arabic silk in Europe, and a full-length portrait of Rabelais by Delacroix. The reception hall on the 2nd floor sports a hull-shaped timber ceiling and stages temporary exhibitions.
