A picturesque village in the Dordogne, a stone building and its shaded terrace on the banks of a stream. The single set menu eschews frills and changes every day according to the chef's inspiration. On this occasion, it was potato gnocchi, shavings of ewe's milk cheese and a wild watercress coulis; supreme of free-range chicken drizzled with hazelnut butter, jus from the carcass and a poultry cream with bay leaf.
