Situated in the lively heart of Palermo between the Vucciria and the small Cala port, this restaurant boasts a modern design and bold colours which are all the more striking for the charming old building which it occupies, the 16C studio of sculptor Antonello Gagini. The Italian-Brazilian chef Mauricio Zillo settled in Palermo after stints working in restaurants around Europe. His cuisine is highly personal, yet well-balanced and rich in flavours – not surprising, given his past experience and his dual nationality! The service is elegant and attentive yet with an informal touch that puts guests at their ease, while the carefully compiled wine list includes several labels produced by small local wineries.
