A native of Vorarlberg, Michael Scherz – no stranger to Cologne's gastronomy scene – focuses on Austrian cuisine, with classics such as Tafelspitz (boiled beef), Wiener schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake with raisins). Great Austrian wines. The service is speedy; the staff friendly and well-trained. Very nice terrace to the rear of the house. Good to know: the restaurant is easily accessible from the city centre by tram.
