The historical setting has been given a makeover including attractive decorative touches; to complement the numerous wine bottles on display, the ceiling is adorned with a depiction of the wine route marked with its famous wine villages. Outside, there is a charming courtyard terrace. Led by Jeanette and Henning Weinheimer, the very friendly and proficient team go about their work with great dedication, serving high-quality regional and seasonal cuisine – as a set menu or à la carte. Meat-eaters should ask about their "Steak Weeks"; Sunday roast is available if pre-ordered. You can also purchase their bread, which they bake on site. For overnight stays there are really pleasant guestrooms.
