It’s well worth heading to this restaurant, if only to enjoy lunch or dinner in a historic building – a delightful 17C aristocratic property with a tower and a charming patio-garden that come as a pleasant surprise. Nowadays, the building is a multi-purpose space with a main dining room, rustic-modern in style, and several palatial-style function rooms. The focus in the kitchen is on traditional Portuguese cuisine of a high level, both in terms of ingredients and attention to detail. Extensive and abundant portions of “petiscos”, plus vegetarian and gluten-free dishes.
