This resort is located in the town of Zirahuén, on the shore of the lake. It is just 40 minutes’ drive from the city of Morelia, and offers charming cottages. The cottages sleep up to 8 guests. All have a lounge with fireplace and sofa, and a kitchenette with a stove, fridge, microwave, coffee-maker and kitchen utensils. The private bathrooms have soap and towels, and there is 24-hour hot water. The cottages are distributed in three sections around the lake: Zirahuén, Alpina and Orquídea. The area is heavily forested, and is ideal for walking and enjoying nature. The property can hire bicycles. The Zirahuen Forest and Resort offers 4 restaurants.
