Built in 1757 in a traditional wooden style, the Hirschen Hotel in Schwarzenberg in the Bregenz Forest offers an award-winning gourmet restaurant, a sauna, and free underground parking. The Rothenbach mountain pasture is a part of the hotel and can be reached on hiking trails starting at the Hirschen. In winter, the ski slopes end right at the doorstep. A ski bus stops in front of the hotel and takes guests to various ski areas. Snow shoeing equipment and toboggans can be borrowed free of charge on site. During the Bregenz Festival, the hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the stage. Before the transfer, a 3-course gourmet dinner is available on request. From 1 May to 31 October, the Bregenzerwald Card is included in the rate with a minimum stay of 3 nights.
