This art centre bears the name of the wife of John D. Rockefeller, Jr. A great collector of American folk art, she bequeathed the almost 400 paintings and various objects that make up the core of the museum. Located in Williamsburg, a remarkable historic town, the building houses the finest collection of folk art in the country. The reserve, replete with quilts, portraits, toys, musical instruments, signs and other everyday objects, is presented through rotating exhibitions.
