Opis

The last palazzo designed by Longhena, completed by Giorgio Massari, Ca' Rezzonico houses the Museum of 18C Venice and its rich collection of 18C furniture and works of art taken from various buildings in the region. This memorable museum introduces visitors to Venice's lavish past: the ballroom with its trompe-I'oeil decor and large ebony figurines is breathtaking, as are the frescoes by Tiepolo, the magnificent Rococo furniture, and the superb chandelier with polychrome flowers by Briati (1730).
