Opis

Via Mensa (17C), designed by Castellamonte on a single symmetrical axis, leads to this imposing complex (480 000m2) used for venatio regis, the royal hunt. Construction of the "Versailles of Piedmont" began in 1660 and took a century to complete. The most noteworthy rooms are the Sala di Diana and the richly decorated Grande Galleria. Continue your visit with a stroll through the gardens, which are dotted with contemporary works by artists such as Giuseppe Penone and Giovanni Anselmo.
