The Museum of National Revival and of the Constituent Assembly is housed in an edifice with a distinctive pale-blue-and-white façade. The curved pediment rests on columns erected in 1872 by master builder Kolju Ficeto. The exhibition recalls the development of Christianity, the local economy, the National Revival, the uprisings against the Turks and the birth of Bulgaria's independence. History buffs will want to visit the room where the Constituent Assembly met in 1879.
