Opis

The Capilla del Roser boasts two marvellous varnished azulejo ceilings from 1605, depicting scenes from the Battle of Lépante. One represents Pope Pius V granting the banner of Christianity to Don Juan of Austria, the other relates a naval battle scene (note the sails and the sea, stained red by blood).
