Opis
Demarcated by the ring of canals known as Stadsbuitengracht, Utrecht's old town developed around the central nucleus of the Domkerk (old cathedral). Two canals (Oudegracht and Nieuwegracht) pass through the city's historic heart and have the peculiarity of being bordered by a quay which is much lower than the level of the street, along which vaulted cellars can also be seen.
