Opis

An undeniable highlight of the beautiful city of Udaipur, Pichola Lake has two islands dotted with princely palaces which can be accessed by boat - although some maintain it is possible to get across on foot before the monsoon. The elegant Jag Niwas Palace, the former summer residence of Jagat Singh II (18C), with its immaculately white walls, is now home to a luxury hotel - even if you're not staying here, it's worth coming to eat in the very romantic restaurant. The palace on Jag Mandir island is known for its sculptures.
