A visit to the Egidio Feruglio Palaeontology Museum has an appealing contemporary museography. Following a reverse chronological order, the exhibition is designed to go back from the current geological period to the Palaeozoic era (250-553 million years BC). The collection includes over 1 700 fossils of plants and animals and around 30 reproductions of life-size dinosaurs based on discoveries made in the surrounding region.
