Opis
The collections of the MUba Eugène-Leroy span the 16C to 20C. Of particular note are the fine Flemish and Dutch works from the 16C and 17C, as well as paintings by Boilly and Clairin (19C). A donation from the family of Eugène Leroy (1910-2000) made it possible to open a laboratory dedicated to the painter, who liked to superimpose layers and colours. Another original aspect: the works are exhibited by theme, not in chronological order.
