Opis
There is little to suggest that behind this discreet façade lies one of the most extraordinary churches in Turin. The incredible dome is one of the most famous monuments of Baroque art. San Lorenzo was the first of Guarino Guarini's designs to be built in Turin: his genius can be seen in the magnificent crossing, where eight pairs of arches intersect to create, with the help of the rays of light that filter through the bull's eye, the illusion of an infinite progression towards the light.
