Opis
Built as a "solar house" by Raoul Moreau, treasurer to Henri II, this Renaissance château boasts a superb location on a hilltop, hence its role as a solar instrument. As a result, the sunrise and sunset occur along the axis of the façade during solstices. Today, the château organises tours (only of the uninhabited area), by guides dressed in period costume.
