Opis

Built on the model of the Church of St Mary in Lübeck, the Church of St Nicholas (13C) has had its central nave raised and its solitary tower replaced by a powerful façade with twin towers. Inside there is a striking architectural contrast between the modest height of the side aisles and the spectacular, soaring nave. Some late-Gothic frescoes are visible and there are also a number of altarpieces worthy of note.
