Opis

Discovered in 1887, this cave was carved out by an old underground river. A tunnel in the rock leads from the Grotte Obscure to the Salle du Chaos. Various concretions form the amazing backdrop of these vast underground galleries. At the entrance to the site, the visitor centre exhibits a splendid model of the Ardèche gorges. La Madeleine lookout point commands a fine view of the gorges.
