Opis

From Sauvas forest lodge, a wide stone path skirts the Hirondelles rock at the foot of the Combe d'Aurouze, then ascends a small pass to Bure plateau. This arid plateau leads to the Pic de Bure (alt. 2,708m). On a fine day, it commands one of the most sweeping views of the Alps, from the foothills of Mont Blanc to the northeast as far as the Cévennes (to the right of Mont Ventoux) and the Italian peaks.
