While relatively peaceful in the mornings, come the afternoon this very central beach quickly becomes overcrowded (very close to a number of hotels). Every manner of street or food vendor seems to converge on this incredibly lively beach, and the frenzy doesn't end until late at night. Unfortunately the absence of any kind of sewage facilities means that the water isn't suitable for bathing. Serendipity wharf acts as the main departure point for the islands.
