Opis

Peaking at 836m, this mountain that looms over the whole island of Pantelleria is an old volcanic crater. All the way along the road that leads there, you will be treated to wonderful vistas of the region. At the end of the tarmacked road, you have to continue on foot. After walking past two buildings (a dammuso and a chapel), a little further on you come to a large stone staircase to the left. This leads to the Grotta dei Briganti (Pirates Cave) that was used as a refuge by countless outlaws.
