Opis

This stunning Baroque edifice by Rastrelli is composed of the Cathedral of the Resurrection in its centre, with a cluster of monastic buildings laid out in a perfectly symmetrical square. Four small churches, located at each inner corner of the surrounding walls, further highlight the slender cathedral's majestic allure. The edifice is also home to Smolny Institute, once a boarding school for young ladies of noble birth.
