Opis
The Stiftbibliothek has an extensive and priceless collection of some 160,000 rare volumes, among which 2,000 local manuscripts (8C-12C) and 1,650 very rare incunabula. The hall is considered to be the finest Rococo-style room in the country and is the work of the artists who built the cathedral. The rich wood panelling, marquetry flooring and painted ceiling all add to the opulent impression.
