Opis

Deeper than the Grand Canyon in Arizona, the Cañón del Chicamocha, a natural wonder, was formed 4.6 billion years ago in a harsh, almost desert environment. To protect the northern slope of the canyon, the 264ha-Parque Nacional del Chicamocha was created, riddled with waymarked trails for hiking and geared towards outdoor sports, with zip-line, kayaking, rafting, paragliding etc. The cable-car ride, one of the longest in the world, commands a fantastic view of the Río Chicamocha.
