Opis

Running from the River Main to the foot of the Bavarian Alps is Romantische Straße, a very popular tourist route, which, over the course of 350km, skirts river valleys lined with verdant hills. It explores the emblematic sites of the Germanic past: the heydays of old medieval cities (Rothenburg, Nördlingen, Dinkelsbühl), the prestige of the Teutonic Knights (Bad Mergentheim) or the Baroque splendour of the episcopal courtyards and imperial towns such as Würzburg.
