This square is surrounded by historical buildings, including the Zum Goldenen Kreuz inn, with its tower and grey façade. The centre of the square is occupied by the Fountain of Justice (1655). Thon-Ditter Palace (N°8), built on the foundations of several Gothic houses, sports a neo-Classical façade, behind which is a Renaissance courtyard.
