Opis

Built on the model of the Basilica of San Clemente in Rome between 1844 and 1854 under Frederick William IV, the church went on to become his final resting place. The apse features a fine 13C mosaic brought from the island of Murano, while the mausoleum contains reclining figures of the Emperor Frederick III and his wife and the sarcophagus of Frederick Wilhelm I.
