Opis

Its owner undoubtedly lived under Nero and loved the theatre. Although, sadly, the small gilded glass and gold medallions depicting Cupids have deteriorated, overall the house is well preserved, with a peristyle with one wing raised like a stage. Between the peristyle and the atrium, inlaid in a wall, there is an obsidian mirror. Further down the street is the House of the Ara Maxima, where there are well-preserved trompe-l'oeil paintings
