Opis

The palace of the counts of Poitou and the dukes of Aquitaine (12C) housed the law courts up until 2019. Purchased by the town, the building will undergo a major refurbishment and excavation programme. Behind the Restoration façade, the Grande salle and the keep (Maubergeon tower) offer a rare example of urban architecture in the Middle Ages in France.
