Opis
The harmonious lines and perspectives of the gardens of the Palais du Luxembourg, designed in the French style, make this a delightful place for a stroll. The English style is also evident in the winding paths lining rue Guynemer and rue Auguste-Comte. The Medici fountain, at the far end of a long pool, shows clear Italian influence, and is the most attractive vestige from Maria di Medici's garden. The large octagonal pond is popular with children, who come here to sail their toy boats.
