Opis
This ultra-modern museum highlights old and contemporary works which relate to Jewish culture, covering areas such as religion, the Diaspora, and the Sephardic and Ashkenazi communities. The section on contemporary Judaism deals with the rise in modern anti-Semitism, from the Dreyfus affair to the deportations, which led to the birth of Zionism. The last few rooms are dedicated to the Jewish presence in 20C art and to the contemporary Jewish world.
