Opis
Housed in two sumptuous mansions, Hôtel Carnavalet and Hôtel Le Peletier de Saint-Fargeau, the museum, also a major iconographic centre of the capital, charts the history of Paris from prehistoric times to the modern era. Paintings, furniture, engravings, documents, models, sculptures and collections of popular arts and traditions make for lively and attractive exhibitions. A new museography is to be inaugurated in spring 2020.
