Opis

Few oratories in Palermo can boast as many artistic treasures as this one. Fourteen paintings illustrate the Joyful Mysteries, Sorrowful Mysteries and Glorious Mysteries, as painted by Borremans, Novelli and Luca Giordano. Note the Flagellation by Matthias Stomer and the splendid Virgin of the Rosary by Anthony van Dyck (1628). The hand of Serpotta has also scattered the place with a multitude of humorous putti, with chubby arms and cheeky smiles.
