The rocky outcrop of Arcouest slopes gently down to the sea, commanding superb views at high tide over the bay and of Bréhat Island. On the left-hand side of the road, a monument - two identical pieces of pink granite - has been erected to Frédéric and Irène Joliot-Curie, who were frequent visitors to Arcouest. Ferries leave from here to the island of Bréhat.
