Opis

The Altenberg zinc works closed its doors in 1981 after 130 years of production. The Rhine Industrial Museum, housed in the former rolling mill, traces not only the history of technological progress since the mid 19C, it also illustrates the key role played by the iron and steel industry in the history of the Rhine-Ruhr region.
