Opis
The tour of this tenement building built by real-estate speculators, containing cheap and rudimentary lodgings where immigrants lived in cramped conditions, chronicles the lives of different families using personal memorabilia, documents and rooms kept in their original condition. A film about the successive waves of immigrants retraces the everyday lives of these new arrivals in a country whose language they rarely spoke.
