A 42mi shoreline foot trail runs the narrow length of this 72,000-acre park, which is famed for its multicolored sandstone cliffs. Paved or dirt roads access several of the park's features, including Munising Falls; Miners Castle, a natural rock outcrop; and Sand Point in the west. For the best view of the "pictured rock" formations on the water's edge, take one of the boat tours that leave from Munising
