Famous throughout the world, this brewery and temple to beer dates back to 1589, although the current building is 19C. With seating for 3 500, it serves some 10 000 litres of beer in one-litre steins every day. It was in the immense vaulted Schwemme hall on the ground floor that Hitler founded the National Socialist Party.
