Opis
A Classical building of vast proportions, Cathédrale Notre Dame de l'Assomption symbolises the omnipotence of the Catholic religion and the end of Protestantism in Montauban. The façade has an imposing peristyle supporting the copies of the colossal statues of the four Evangelists remaining inside. In the left side of the transept is the famous painting by Ingres, The Vow of Louis XIII.
