Opis

Getting out to the Cirque de Jaffar is well worth the effort. The track leading there from Midelt is uneven: find out about it before you set off. The higher up you travel, the more you notice holm oaks, then thuja trees. Close by, the Jbel Ayachi completely closes off the landscape, which is dotted with beautiful cedars. At the foot of the mountain the cirque then widens. The road back to Midelt runs along the edge of the pass, affording superb views of the wooded and rocky gorge. Towering over it all are the peaks of Ayachi, which are snow-capped until May.
