Opis
So designated by the City of Miami in the late 1970s to promote the district as a tourist attraction, the quarter stretches along Calle Ocho between S.W. 17th and S.W. 12th avenues. (The north-south portion of the quarter reaches from N.W. First to S.W. Ninth streets.) Here quaint street lamps rise above brick sidewalks set with stars bearing the names of an international array of prominent Hispanic entertainers.
