The Côte Bleue follows along the Estaque Range between Marseille, the Gulf of Fos and the Etang de Berre. It is a craggy coastline indented by deep coves with tiny harbours and seaside resorts including Niolon, nestled in a cove of the same name; Carry-le-Rouet, a family-oriented resort with a pretty marina; Sausset-les-Pins, which once lived from its fishing industry; and Martigues.
