Opis

This island across from Pointe d'Esny contains one of the rare nature preserves on Mauritius where a few native plants (the red butterfly tree, tarenna borbonica and screw pine) and animals (pink pigeons, kestrels and giant tortoises) have survived. Ecotours introduce visitors to the wildlife of Mauritius and provide them with a better understanding of the environment through educational programmes. After crossing the lagoon, check out the information centre and explore the island, its flora and inhabitants with one of the guides.
