Built of marble, the facade breaks up the monotony of these buildings with its whiteness and its Baroque decoration. You will notice the Carrara marble statues of St Dominic and St Francis. Also admire the proportions inside and the variety of marble coverings and at the transept crossing, four finely worked arches which support a magnificent pink and white marble dome 70 m high.
